JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Hanson International Tbk (MYRX) mulls to acquire land areas in Java island, used to develop its property assets, Investor Daily reported.

The company targets to book revenue of Rp1 trillion from housing projects this year. It decided to temporarily halt its mining operation as the sector is slowing down.

Hanson had recently acquired property developer PT Mandiri Mega Jaya for Rp4 trillion. MMJ claims ownership of 2,899 hectares land in Bogor (West Java), and Serpong, Tangerang, Lebak (Banten province).

Hanson has booked 2 housing project contracts from Bank Tabungan Negara and Ciputra group with total value of Rp11 trillion.

At 10.14 am Jakarta time, MYRX gained 2.86% to Rp540 per share with over 58 million shares exchanged hands.
