JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Ace Hardware Indonesia (ACES), biggest Indonesian household retailer firm, booked sales of Rp3.8 trillion in 2013, grew by 19% from 2012.

The company’s retail space area increased 18% with 19 new outlets. It allocates Rp100 billion for opening 10 outlets this year.

Helen Tanzil, ACES’ corporate secretary, earlier said the company will add 30 new stores until 2015 to boost revenue by 20-25% per year.

Bank Indonesia survey records 650 retailers operated in 10 big cities in the country. The weakening rupiah might prompt retailers to increase their products prices this year, but the industry is expected to grow by 10-15% this year.
