JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended higher 1.28% at 4254, reversed early morning losses. While regional markets closed mixed.

Banking and property stocks led the market’s gain. Bank Mandiri jumped 5.77%, Bank Rakyat Indonesia hiked 3.75%, and Bank Negara Indonesia rose 2.88%.

Among property stocks, Alam Sutera gained 3.15%, Lippo Karawaci increased 2.87%, and Bumi Serpong Damai surged 7.87%.

Other gainers were Jababeka (+2.1%), Kalbe Farma (+3%), Perusahaan Gas Negara (+3.62%), Telkom (+2.88%), Waskita Karya (+6.05%), Wijaya Karya (+7.55%), and Bumi Resources Minerals (+6.5%).

Nymex’s crude oil rose 1.05% to US$92.62 per barrel and gold increased 0.32% to US$1,233.30 per ounce. The rupiah strengthened to Rp12,197 against the US Dollar.
