JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Shares of coal producers regained grounds Wednesday (Jan 8) after losing significantly in the previous trading days. Adaro Energy leads the recovery with 6.82% gain.
Trading in Adaro shares was heavy with almost 160 million shares exchanged hands. Harum Energy also gained 1.84% with over 13 million shares exchanged hands, while Indo Tambangraya gained 2.54% on thin trading volume.
Bumi Resources, which gained significantly Tuesday, on the other hand, ended lower by 1.27% with almost 73 million shares traded. Bukit Asam regained grounds, but Toba Bara Sejahtara lost 4.11% with only one lot traded.
Mining contractors were mixed with United Tractors losing 1.52%, while Petrosea gained 1.71%. Samindo also gained 1.68%, but Delta Dunia Makmur ended flat.
