JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Foreign tourists visiting Indonesia reached 807,422 tourists in November 2013, jumped 16.37% from 693,867 in November 2012. Compared to October 2013, the figure rose 12.16%. Foreign investors visited Indonesia in Octoner 2013 totaled 719,903.
Total foreign tourists went to Bali, one of the most attractive places in Indonesia, through Ngurah Rai Airport, in November 2013 amounted 296,990 tourists, surged 24.85% from 237,874 in November 2012. Compared with October 2013, the number rose 11.46%%.
The main gate of Soekarno-Hatta Airport recorded foreign arrival of 199,511 tourists in November 2013, increased 7.78% from 185,112 in November 2012. Compared with October 2013, the figure increased 4.21%.
The number of tourists stayed in star hotels in 23 provinces reached an average number of 56.10% in November 2013, increased 0.91 points compared to November 2012 (55.19%). Compared to October 2013, the number rose 1.87 points.
Both domestic and international tourists on average stayed in the star hotels for around 1.86 days in November 2013, declined 0.04 days from November 2012, also down 0.05 days from October 2013. (yohanneso@yosefardi.biz)
