JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) opened up 1.67% to 4,552 this morning, extending yesterday’s gain supported by positive regional markets.

Most regional markets gained more than 1% on Thursday (July 11) while Korea’s KOSPI jumped 2.16%. While Nymex’s crude oil retreated 0.26% to US$106.24 per barrel in Asian trading this morning.

In Jakarta bourse, blue chips, banking and property stocks led market’s gain. Astra International rose 2.3%, Adaro Energy increased 2.78%, Bumi Resources hiked 3.16%, Perusahaan Gas Negara lifted 0.87%, and Telkom up 0.44%.

Among banking stocks, Bank Rakyat Indonesia climbed 3.45%, Bank Negara Indonesia jumped 3.8%, Bank Central Asia gained 3.17%, and Bank Mandiri surged 5.16%.

Property stocks were also in green, Alam Sutera (+2.86%), Bumi Serpong Damai (+4.83%), Pakuwon Jati (+3%), Lippo Karawaci (+5.3%), Bhakti Investama (+2.35%),
