SYDNEY (Yosefardi) – ASX-listed Killara Resources Ltd has entered into a binding agreement with PT Berkah Ciwi Lestari Kaltim for the development of coal project in East Kalimantan.

Berkah Ciwi Lestari (BCLK) will develop and produce coal from Killara’s PT Borneo Emas Hitam.

“The immediate focus will be on overburden removal to expose coal for extraction leading to coal production, which is anticipated in the first quarter of 2014,” Killara said Friday.

BCLK is a subsidiary of PT Buana Celebes, which is engaged in nickel mining in Pomalaa, Sulawesi and coal project in Grogot and Bentuas, East Kalimantan.
