JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Inti Rajawali Nusantara plans to build railway for transporting coal for South Sumatera-Bengkulu connection with investment cost of Rp12 trillion.
The project will help state coal producer PT Bukit Asama Tbk (PTBA) tranporting its coal products. The railway will pass three regencies with 180 kilometers length.
Media earlier reported PT Adani, owned by investor from India, is also interested to build double-track railway connecting Muara Enim and Tanjung Api Api port. However, the project is failed as Adani failed to meet the regulation ruled by the central government of Indonesia.
