JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – State oil and gas company PT Pertamina targets to book net profit of US$3.44 billion in 2014 along with assets growth.

It expects to book assets of US$52.6 billion next year, a 13% rise compared to this year. While revenues is targeted to increase 6% to US$79 billion. Operating profit is expected to reach US$6.67 billion.

Pertamina said its upstream business will contribute half of revenue next year. The company had acquired some assets, also boosting assets through merger and optimizing production of the existing fields.

In 2014, Pertamina targets to produce 284,000 barrels oil per day (bph) and 1,567 million standard cubic feet per day (mmscfd) of gas. Geothermal production is targeted to reach 3,036 GwH.

Pertamina allocates capital expenditure (capex) of US$7.85 billion for 2014. The company expects to book revenue of US$65.22 billion this year and to produce 535,820 barrels oil equivalent per day (boepd).
