JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Joyo Winoto, former head of the National Land Agency (BPN), has testified on Tuesday (Nov. 26) to Jakarta Corruption Court on the trial of graft scandal of the controversial Hambalang stadium project.
Joyo presented in the trial as witness for Deddy Kusdinar, defendant in the case and former Chief of financial and internal affairs bureau at the Ministry of Youth & Sports.
KPK prosecutor team also invited other six witnesses to join the trial. They are Managam Manurung, Bambang Eko Haryoko Nugroho, Wisler Manalu, Bambang Siswanto, Bustaman Harahap and Jaelani.
Joyo was previously one of targets from KPK investigation for the Hambalang graft scandal. Joyo himself was already examined as witness in the case for twice last year.
KPK prosecutor team, in their charges to Deddy Kusdinar, mentioned that Joyo had received Rp3 billion from Permai Group through Mindo Rosalina (a director of PT Duta Graha Indah/DGI) and Muhammad Nazaruddin (former Democratic Party Treasurer).
The money was aimed to bribe Joyo to win PT Duta Graha Indah, a company owned by Nazaruddin, in the tender of Hambalang project. However, according to KPK prosecutor team, Permai Group had asked the money for return after two state-owned construction firms, PT Adhi Karya (ADHI) and PT Wijaya Karya (WIKA), being named as the winners of the project tender.
