JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Rig Tenders Indonesia (RIGS) Tbk has secured contract of US$20 million, equivalent Rp235 billion, for coal transportation services until end of 2014.
This contract represents 70% of total contract (US$28.57 million), as 30% is the contracts for offshore business. The company had secured contracts from some companies such as Adaro Energy and Arutmin Indonesia.
Currently, Rig Tenders operates 70 units of barges and tug boats with capacity of 20 million tons per year.
The company suffered loss of Rp21.46 billion in first nine months of this year, compared to profit Rp93.46 billion in the same period of last year. Revenue dropped to Rp462.61 billion from previous Rp857.71 billion.
