JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) opened down 0.4% at 4333 this morning following regional markets.

Alam Sutera fell 1%, Lippo Karawaci shed 1.09%, Bank Mandiri lost 1.3%, Indofood dropped 2.2%, London Sumatra declined 1.09%, Perusahaan Gas Negara slipped 1.06%, and Telkom down 1.12%.

Among gainers were Astra International (1.53%), Bank Negara Indonesia (+0.57%), and Bumi Serpong Damai (+2.9%).

Nimex’s crude oil declined 0.23% to US$93.63 per barrel in Asian trading. Gold fell 0.84% to US$1,247.40 per ounce.
