JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Talisman Energy Inc produced a total of 75,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd) in Indonesia in nine months ended September 30, 2013, down slightly by 5% from the corresponding period of 2012.

Lower output of natural gas at 391 MMSCFD in the period against 410 MMSCFD in the corresponding period of 2012 contributed to the decline, as liquids flat at 11,000 barrels per day.

In the third quarter, Talisman Indonesia produced 73,000 boepd, down from 78,000 boepd in the same period of 2012.

“Gas sales are expected to increase after completion of facility upgrades and tie-in work at Corridor block during the fourth quarter,” Talisman said this week.

Indonesia is the largest operation of Talisman in Southeast Asia, way above Malaysia (34,000 boepd) and Vietnam (14,000 boepd).
