JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended up 0.82% at 4486 Thursday (Nov 7), while most regional markets extended falls.

Adaro Energy jumped 4.85%, Astra International gained 2.29%, Alam Sutera hiked 1.79%, Bank Rakyat Indonesia lifted 3.23%, Lippo Karawaci climbed 1.9%, and Kalbe Farma rose 2.29%.

Other gainers were Inovisi (+25%) and Global Mediacom (+4.37%). Among losers, but in thin trading volume, included Visi Media (-4.17%), Matahari Department Store (-5.93%), and Cipaganti (-6.15%).

Nymex’s crude oil declined 0.18% to US$94.63 per barre. Gold fell 0.16% to US$1,315.70 per ounce. The rupiah strengthened to Rp11,389 against the US Dollar.
