JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended up 0.6% at 4449 Wednesday (Nov 6) but trade was volatile. While regional markets closed mixed.
Charoen Pokphand jumped 5.48%, Media Nusantara Citra surged 7.29%, Global Mediacom lifted 3.98%, Pakuwon Jati hiked 3.5%, Visi Media climbed 2.13%, Astra International gained 1.55%, and Bank Negara Indonesia rose 1.09%.
Among losers were Wijaya Karya (-1.07%), Waskita Karya (-1.72%), Adaro Energy (-2.83%), Aneka Tambang (-1.96%), Alam Sutera (-1.75%), Bumi Resources (-2.3%), BW Plantation (-1.9%), Lippo Karawaci (-1.87%), and Telkom (-2.15%).
Nymex’s crude oil increased 0.74% to US$94.06 per barrel. Gold rose 0.77% to US$1,318.20 per ounce. The rupiah weakened further to Rp11,414 against the US Dollar.
