JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Citra Kebun Raya Agri Tbk (CKRA) has been renamed to PT Cakra Mineral Tbk in line with its core business change from plantation to iron ore mining.
The company’s shareholders have approved the plan through Extraordinary General Meeting back on early April 2013.
Last year, the company acquired PT Persada Indo Tambang, controller of 2,980ha iron ore concession in South Solok Regency, West Sumatera. The company also had divested its plantation asset PT Horizon Agro Industry to PT Rajawali Agro Andalan Nusantara (RAAN) for Rp750 billion.
In the first quarter 2013, CKRA booked Rp5.24 billion of net profit after generating significant revenues from its iron ore sales to PT Visi Utama Mandiri.
