JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Silver ended significantly lower by 10.4% to US$21.7 per ounce Tuesday, while gold slipped 0.24% to US$1311.6 per ounce.
Freeport McMoRan, owner of Grasberg mine in Papua, ended lower by 0.56% in New York, while Newmont Mining, owner of Batu Hijau mine in West Nusa Tenggara, inched up 0.07% only.
Other miners end mixed with Alcoa Inc lost 1.41% in New York, while Anglo American gained 2.78% in London.
Fox Resources Ltd plummeted 6.25% in Sydney (Australia), while Rio Tinto gained 1.25% in London.
