JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) opened down 0.96% at 4530 this morning following regional markets.

Nymex’s crude oil declined 0.13% to US$96.64 per barrel in Asian trading this morning. Gold fell 0.84% to US$1,338.00 per ounce.

Media Nusantara Citra declined 1.9%, Waskita Karya fell 1.6%, Wijaya Karya shed 1.7%, Global Mediacom slipped 1.5%, and Japfa Comfeed dropped 2.1%.

Among blue chip stocks, Adaro Energy fell 1.9%, Astra International declined 1.45%, Alam Sutera retreated 1.5%, Perusahaan Gas Negara dropped 2.9%, and Lippo Karawaci down 2.5%. Banking shares were also in red.
