JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – State gas distributor PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN) Tbk (PGAS) booked net profit of US$666.46 million in first nine months of this year, a 4.6% marginal increase compared to US$640.63 million in the same period of last year.
Net revenues grew by 20.3% to US$2.2 billion from previous US$1.83 billion and cost of revenues also increased to US$1.16 billion from earlier US$749.94 million.
Revenues from distribution totaled US$2.17 trillion, transmission US$173.82 million, exploration of oil and gas US$17.32 million, and other operations US$41.18 million. PGN distributed 808 mmscfd during the period.
Profit from operation reached US$697.59 million, lower than US$785.6 million a previous year.
The company’s assets totaled US$3.77 billion while liability amounted US$1.26 billion. It has cash and cash equivalent of US$903.85 million.
