JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – General (ret) Pramono Edhie Wibowo, brother-in-law of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY), took place on Wednesday (Oct 30) at the Edhie Wibowo Media Center in Menteng, Central Jakarta, promoting to public his personal twitter account, @edhiewibowo_55, as a part of his efforts to win the Democratic Party’s primary.
Pramono’s twitter account actually has been created since Sept. 3, 2013. The account has already attracted 1,874 followers until 3:22 pm of Jakarta time.
The former Army Chief of Staff (KSAD) explained that he will managed the account by himself assisted by a team and be ready to face harsh criticism in the Twitterland.
Pramono is currently competing with other 10 contestants of the Democratic Party’s primary to win the ticket of the 2014 presidential race from the party. He is one of favorite candidate alongwith Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Dahlan Iskan and Minister of Trade Gita Wirjawan.
The Democratic Party itself is actually doubted to secure one presidential ticket in next year’s presidential race as recent various surveys showed further decline of its electability into less than 10%.
