JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk (AALI) produced 1.08 million tons of crude palm oil (CPO) from January to September 2013, increased by 4.7% from 1.03 million tons in 2012.
However, AALI’s total FFB harvested still decline by 7.1% amounted to 3.67 million tons. AALI’s decreased FFB production still occurs in Sumatra area totaling 7.2%, Kalimantan area totaling 8.6% and Sulawesi area totaling 3.6%.
Compared to the same period last year, there’s an increase of 21.8% of external FFB, which increase the total FFB processed by 4%, compared to the same period in 2012.
AALI records an increase in CPO sales volume to 1.11 million tons until September 2013, the total number increase 11.3% from sales volume in September last year, which reach 993,729 tons.
Meanwhile, AALI’s kernel sales volume reach 237,547 tons or increase 59.6% compared to the same period in 2012 which reach 148,839 tons.
AALI’s CPO price per October 2013 decline as the impact of declined world CPO price. AALI’s price for September 2013 is Rp 6,835 /kg or decline 11.7% compared to last year price which reach Rp 7,739 /kg.
