JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Investors focus buying on mining stocks this morning along with broader market gain and expectation over better earnings for third quarter of this year.
Timah gained 1.8%, Vale Indonesia jumped 3.8%, Aneka Tambang rose 2.55%, Medco Energy increased 0.98%, and Energi Mega Persada hiked 2.35%.
Among coal stocks, Indika Energy rose 1.2%, Borneo Lumbung surged 4.55%, Adaro Energy increased 0.93%, Bumi Resources lifted 2.13%, and Berau Coal up 1.07%.
Nymex’s crude oil declined 0.17% to US$98.13 per barrel, lowest level since June, as recent data indicate that there is plenty of supply to meet current demand.
