JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) opened down 0.59% at 4551 this morning while regional markets were mixed. US stocks ended little changed on Monday (Oct 21).
Astra International dropped 2.17%, Alam Sutera lost 1.6%, Indofood declined 1.38%, Telkom down 2.15%, and Charoen Pokphand fell 1.2%.
Other losers were Matahari Putra Prima (-1.09%), MNC Investama (-1.35%), Bumi Resources (-1.04%), and Adaro Energy (-0.93%).
Nymex’s crude oil declined 0.18% to US$99.50 per barrel in Asian trading this morning. Gold fell 0.14% to US$1,314.00 per ounce.
