JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Hilmi Aminuddin, patron leader of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS), shows up in the Corruption Court Monday (Oct. 21).

He is scheduled to testify for the graft defendant and PKS suspended chairman Luthfi Hasan Ishaaq. Hilmi’s testimony is considered as one of the key testimony in this case.

Hilmi’s examination is a follow up of testimony from number of witnesses including Hilmi’s son M Ridwan.

Previously, the anti graft commission KPK played a wiretapped conversation between Ridwan and graft suspect Ahmad Fathanah in the court session. In the conversation Ridwan asked Rp40 billion for “engkong”, allegedly as Hilmi.

Luthfi and Fathanah were charged for taking bribe from PT Indoguna Utama. The graft was given as fee to “take care” beef import quota proposed by the company. Both of them allegedly have the authority to pass the proposal to the Ministry of Agriculture. (indrab@yosefardi.biz)
