JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended up 0.55% at 4,511 Friday (Oct. 11) inline with regional markets, but closed off its high.

Nikkei, Hang Seng, Shanghai, and All Ordinaries gained more than 1%. Nymex’s crude oil fell 0.86% to US$102.12 per barrel. Gold declined 0.93% to US$1,284.80 per ounce. The rupiah strengthened to Rp11,475 against the US Dollar.

In Jakarta bourse, Astra International gained 1.47%, Bank Negara Indonesia rose 2.26%, Bumi Serpong Damai hiked 2.76%, Indofood jumped 4.48%, Timah climbed 2.45%, and Semen Indonesia added 2.89%.

Other gainers were Borneo Lumbung (+4.26%), Inovisi Infracom (+23.88%), and Indo Tambangraya (+8.5%).

Among losers were Bank Mandiri (-2.29%), BW Plantation (-1.06%), and Bank Tabungan Negara (-1.02%).
