JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Shares of state tin producer PT Timah Tbk (TINS) jumped 5.23% to Rp1,640 per share this morning, rebounded 73% from its bottom at Rp950 on July 2013, but remained declined 8.4% from its peak reached in January.
Investor focus buying on Timah following recent news saying contract of work for Koba Tin was terminated.
Timah earlier said it mulls to set up new joint venture (JV) with local government-owned companies to get working contract for mining, exploring, and smelting tins in Bangka island, Bangka Belitung province.
