JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia Tbk booked net profit of Rp282.6 billion in first half of this year, jumped 72% from Rp164.55 billion in the same period of last year.

Revenue from fund management as Mudharib totaled Rp1.97 trillion, grew by 44% from Rp1.37 trillion a previous year.

Revenue from sales totaled Rp926.47 billion, revenue sharing Rp878.7 billion, and other operating revenue was Rp153.7 billion.

Income from operations reached Rp385.7 billion, higher than Rp246.2 billion in first half of 2012.

Bank Muamalat’s assets totaled Rp47.96 trillion while liability amounted Rp7.69 trillion. It has cash of Rp603.23 billion.

Bank Mualamat plans to acquire land and building for its corporate head office from PT Pertala Mitra Perkasa, partly funded by offshore borrowing.
