JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT XL Axita Tbk (EXCL) has today (Oct 2) signed national roaming agreement with PT Axis Telekom Indonesia.
The agreement was effective since September 27, 2013. Axia has demanded to XL to help BTS temination incident by third parties.
This termination had impacted on Axis’ coverage and service quality to its customers.
XL had in September 26, 2013 entered into a conditional sale and purchase agreement (CSPA) with Saudi Telecom Company (STC) and Teleglobal Investments B.V. (Teleglobal), a subsidiary of STC, to acquire PT AXIS Telekom Indonesia (AXIS).
Teleglobal will sell (or procure the sale of) a 95% equity stake in AXIS to XL. AXIS is valued at 100% enterprise value of USD 865 million, on a cash free and debt free basis.
Currently, XL’s has 65 million customers.
