JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Property developer Lippo Karawaci (LPKR) booked net profit of Rp546 billion in the first half ended June 30, 2013, an increase of 25% from the corresponding period of 2012.
Lippo Karawaci reported sales revenue of Rp3.067 trillion, grew by 27% from first half of 2012. Healthcare division (Siloam Hospitals) posted the highest growth of 48% to Rp1 trillion.
Residential and urban development segment, meanwhile, reported 17% growth to Rp1.32 trillion, while commercial segment (retail malls and hotels) grew 9% to Rp267 billion.
Lippo Karawaci shares, however, dropped 2.68% this morning, while Siloam Hospitals was flat. Like other property shares, Lippo Karawaci has dropped substantially from its peak at Rp1850 in May.
