JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Indonesian musician Ahmad Dhani has threatened to launch a legal action against insurance company PT Prudential Life Assurance as the insurer avoids to cover the medical cost of his son Ahmad Abdul Qodir Jaelani.

Dhani’s son, called as Dul, became a suspect in a fatal traffic crash at Jagorawi toll road on Sept 8 which killed six and 9 others injured.

According to Dhani, Prudential argued that the incident is categorized as a violation of law, and as a result the insurer refused to cover the cost for medical treatment, which reportedly reaches Rp500 million.

“If Dul was proven not guilty (in the car incident), I will file a legal action (over Prudential) for default,” said Dhani. (indrab@yosefardi.biz)
