JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Farhat Syukri, President Director of state-television TVRI, will be dismissed from his position in near time. TVRI supervisory board also will dismiss three other directors.
Elprisdat M Zen, Chief of TVRI supervisory board, claimed that the dismissal is nothing to do with the recent broadcasting of Democrat Party primary.
Elprisdat revealed that four directors’ dismissal is based on their performance. “However, the primary broadcast is also noted by the board,” He said.
Previously The Indonesian Broadcasting Commission (KPI) viewed an indication that State TV station TVRI has violated journalistic principles when broadcasted the primary of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono’s Democratic Party on September 15. (indrab@yosefardi.biz)
