HONG KONG (Yosefardi) – G-Resources Ltd, controlling owner of Martabe gold mine in North Sumatra, booked net profit of US$29.28 million in the financial year ended June 30, 2013 against net loss of US$19.24 million in the previous financial year.
G-Resources generated sales revenue of US$258.38 million in the year, while EBITDA reached US$117.9 million.
In the year, Martabe gold mine, which started commercial production in July 2012, produced 181,703 ounces of gold and 845,064 ounces of silver.
In the first eight months of 2013, Martabe mine produced 182,000 ounces of gold and 910,000 ounces of silver. The calendar 2013 guidance remains 280,000 ounces of gold.
