JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK)’s plan to raid house of Olly Dondokambey, lawmaker from Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P), in Manado is leaked by local court, forced KPK to hold the action.
Johan Budi, KPK spokesperson, revealed that the raid notification document is considered very classified. Based on the Indonesia Criminal Procedure Code (KUHAP), a raid by law enforcement institutions must be notified to the local court.
The raid was initiated by KPK in relation to the Hambalang sports center corruption case. Olly has been examined by KPK for several times as witness. Olly is currently treasurer of PDI-P and Head of Commission XI of The House. (indrab@yosefardi.biz)
