JAKARTA (Indonesia Today) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) drooped by 1.32% to 4,994.05 on Thursday (May 2) in line with the falls in regional markets.
Astra International fell 2.04%, Bank Rakyat Indonesia lost 3.11%, Bank Negara Indonesia dropped 3.6%, Bank Mandiri shed 3.79%, Alam Sutera fell 3.67% and Bumi Serpong lost 1.68%.
Other losers were Perusahaan Gas Negara (-1.61%), Kalbe Farma (-0.74%), and XL Axiata (-6.93%).
Nymex’s crude oil regained 0.1% to US$91.12 per barrel. The rupiah strengthened to Rp9,728 against the US Dollar. (hans@theindonesiatoday.com)
