JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Government of Indonesia has secured loan facility of EUR400 million loan, equivalent Rp6 trillion), from Germany and EUR58 million grant, equivalent Rp870 billion.

Both countries, represented by Robert Pakpahan, director general of debt management at the Finance Ministry, and germany ambassador for Indonesia, Georg Witschel, have today signed the loan and grant agreement.

Robert said the loan will be used for funding geothermal projects for supporting power plants, including geothermal project in Seulawah Agam, Aceh province, and for funding solid waste management system.

As scheduled, both countries will discuss further on this project in November 13, 2013.
