JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Anas Urbaningrum, former chairman of Democratic Party, has established new organization Pergerakan Indonesia (Indonesia Movement) to accommodate his loyalists.
Anas, who is suspect in the Hambalang sport center graft case, is scheduled to formally launch the organization Sunday, September 15.
“The organization is established to accommodate loyalists of Anas after his departure from Democratic Party,” said Tridianto, former head of Cilacap branch of Democratic Party, one of the loyalists.
Prominent figures expected to attend the ceremony include Akbar Tandjung (chairman of advisory board of Golkar Party) and Din Syamsudin (chairman of PP Muhammadiyah, the second largest Moslem organization in Indonesia).
