JAKARTA (Indonesia Today) – Government and House of Representative (DPR) have on Monday (Sept 10) agreed on oil and gas lifting for 2013 budget plan.

Oil lifting is set for 900,000 barrels per day while gas lifting is set for 1.36 million barrel oil equivalent per day (boepd), then combined oil and gas lifting totals 2.26 million boepd, higher than 1,28 million boepd expected to be realized this year.

Energy Minister Jero Wacik said gas lifting is the first time to be included on the budget plan.

The additional gas production in 2012 will come from Mahakam block (200 mmscfd) and Kangean block (90 mmscfd).

Government and DPR have also set Indonesian crude price (ICP) at US$100 per barrel and fuel volume of 46.01 million kilolitre for 2013 budget plan. (hans@theindonesiatoday.com)
