JAKARTA (Indonesia Today) – PT Bank Panin Tbk (PNBN) booked comprehensive net profit of Rp1.27 trillion in the first half of 2012, jumped 43% from Rp884.5 billion in the corresponding period of 2011.
Net interest income only increased 10% to Rp2.65 trillion from previous Rp2.41 trillion while interest income rose to Rp5.37 trillion from earlier Rp4.75 trillion. Net interest margin was 4.13%.
Operating profit increased to Rp1.61 trillion from Rp1.15 trillion in first half of 2011.
As of June 2012, its assets totaled Rp135.79 trillion, of which credit amounted Rp88.45 trillion. Third party funds totaled Rp92.79 trillion. Loan to deposit ratio (LDR) stood at 87.83%. (hans@theindonesiatoday.com)
