JAKARTA (Yosefard) – Prabowo’s Gerindra Party revealed that the party has a political contract with Jokowi. The contract required Jokowi to lead Jakarta until the end of his period.
Suhardi, Chairman of Gerindra Party, stated that his party wants to remind both Jokowi and Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) to be consistent. “The political contract requires Jokowi to be consistent and finish his duty as Jakarta Governor,” said Suhardi, as quoted by Kompas.
However, he argued that the ultimate decision is back to the PDI-P and Jokowi.
Fadli Zon, vice chairman of Gerindra Party, also reminds that Jokowi had promised on Jakarta governorship to reorganize the capital city.
