SINGAPORE (Yosefardi) – Mirach Energy has spudded another new infill-well, KM-611, at the Kampung Minyak Field. The targeted drill depth is 455 metres, to reach the section designated as the Suban-7 (S7) oil layer.
Drilling is expected to complete in the second week of September and perforations for production in the third week of September. PT Henan (a unit of Sinopec) will be providing the mud logging services.
Kampung Minyak field, located in South Sumatra, is a mature field and contains about 65 million barrels of original oil in place. PetroChina’s Daqing Enterprise provides oil field production and engineering services for the field.
