SYDNEY (Yosefardi) – West Wits Mining (WWI) Ltd has proceeded with procurement of a concentrator for its mining activities at the Derewo River gold project in Papua province, Indonesia.
“Pre-mining earthworks and site preparation will commence in two to three weeks following which trial mining will start utilizing a conventional alluvial recovery circuit,” WWI informed ASX this morning.
The new concentrator plant is expected to be on site in eight weeks, which will allow for a scale up of mining activities.
Listed on ASX with market cap of around A$6.7 million, WWI also has gold project in South Africa. Among its major shareholders are DRD Gold Ltd (12%), GOC Holdings Ltd (6%), and Twynam Ag Grp (6%).
