JAKARTA (Indonesia Today) – Coking coal producer PT Borneo Lumbung Energi & Metal (BORN) Tbk booked net profit of US$39 million in the first half of 2012, representing a 58.9% fall from the corresponding period of 2011.

Borneo Lumbung, controlled by Samin Tan, reported earning per share of Rp20 in the first half. Borneo’s shares closed lower by 3.57% to Rp540 on Tuesday (August 28).

Borneo Lumbung saw its sales revenue declined 5.9% to US$321 million in the first half of 2012, while operating profit declined 30% to US$97 million.
