JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended up 1.9% to 4,675 on Thursday (June 27) in line with positive regional markets.
Japan’s Nikkei gained 2.96% and Koera’s KOPSI rose 2.87%. Only Shanghai Composite inched down 0.08%.
In Jakarta bourse, blue chip stocks with relatively strong fundamentals to weather possible crisis continue to lead the recovery.
Astra International gained 1.25%, Kalbe Farma jumped 4.55%, Perusahaan Gas Negara climbed 5.7%, Telkom hiked 5.37%, Alam Sutera advanced 1.25%, and Trada Maritim increased 0.7%.
Banking stocks also supported. Bank Rakyat Indonesia increased 0.68%, Bank Negara Indonesia rose 1.79%, Bank Mandiri lifted 2.34%, Bank Central Asia up 1.07%, and Bank Bukopin gained 1.45%.
Other gainers were Wijaya Karya (+2.4%), Global Mediacom (+3.75%), Multipolar (+1.75%), Pakuwon Jati (+6.15%), Bhakti Investama (+1.1%), and Hanson International (+1.5%).
Shares of PT Nusa Raya Cipta Tbk (NRCA), engaged in construction services for commercial building and infrastructure, soared 49% to Rp1,270 per share in trading debut today.
Among losers were Adaro Energy (-1.23%) and Lippo Karawaci (-1.9%).
Nymex’s crude oil increased 0.3% to US$95.80 per barrel. The rupiah was traded flat at Rp9,937 against the US Dollar.
