SINGAPORE (Yosefardi) – Indofood Agri Resources Ltd, a company controlled by Salim Group, has completed the acquisition of 50% interest in Companhia Mineira de Acucar e Alcool Participacoes (CMAA).
As reported earlier, Indofood acquired 50% shares in CMAA, a sugar refinery in Brazil, for an aggregate cash consideration of around US$66.6 million.
The acquisition was completed on June 25, 2013, Indofood Agri Resources informed Singapore Exchange this morning.
Indofood Agri shares were traded at S$0.97 Wednesday afternoon. Like other plantation shares, Indofood Agri has dropped substantially from S$1.52 in July 2012.
