JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Bank CIMB Niaga Tbk (BNGA), the fifth largest bank in Indonesia in terms of total asset, had decided to postpone its bond issuance plan this year as current market condition does not support.

The bank earlier planned to issue bonds worth Rp2.5 trillion with tenor of 2,3 and 5 years.

CIMB Securities Indonesia will act as underwriter. The bond proceeds aims to support this year’s loan expansion.

In first quarter of 2013, CIMB Niaga’s credit totaled Rp141.6 trillion while third party’s funds amounted Rp167.32 trillion.

The bank posted net profit of Rp1.06 trillion on net interest income of Rp2.43 trillion.
