JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) retreated by 1.9% to 4,605 this morning to tracking the falls in regional and global markets.

Japan’s Nikkei dropped 5.28%, followed by Shanghai (-3.3%), Hong Kong’s Hang Seng (-2.6%), Singapore’s Straits Times (-1.49%), Korea’s KOSPI (-1.06%), and Australia’s All Ordinaries (-1.01%).

In Jakarta bourse, Astra International fell 2.8%, Alam Sutera dropped 4.7%, Bumi Serpong lost 3.28%, Lippo Karawaci down 1.9%, Bank Rakyat Indonesia declined 1.96%, Bank Negara Indonesia shed 2.2%, Bank Mandiri lost 2.27%, Perusahaan Gas Negara dropped 4.6%, and Trada Maritim fell 2.24%.

Other losers were Waskita Karya (-3.53%), Wijaya Karya (-2.2%), Global Mediacom (-3.9%), Sarancentral Bajatama (-1.02%), Pakuwon Jati (-5.48%), and Bhakti Investama (-2.13%).

Nymex’s crude oil declined 0.37% to US$95.53 per barrel in Asian trading this morning.
