SYDNEY (Yosefardi) – NuEnergy Gas Ltd plans to start the drilling of second pilot well at the Muara Enim production sharing contract in South Sumatra, Indonesia.
The CNM drilling rig is being mobilized from Pilot Well #1 to Pilot Well #2, which is located about 500 meters from Pilot Well #1.
Listed on ASX, NuEnergy develops coal-bed methane prospects in Sumatra, Indonesia and other countries in Africa.
NuEnergy’s partner in Muara Enim CBM project is state-owned oil and gas company Pertamina.
Upon completion of Pilot Well #2, well tubing and a pump drive will be installed and the well connected to the pilot production plant. “This will precede the commencement of dewatering operations and the build-up of gas production,” NuEnergy informed ASX this morning.
