AALI also produced 323,000 tons of palm kernel oil, an increase of 20% from 2011. The company harvested 5.498 million tons of FFBs, grew by 14.6% from 2011, mostly due to strong growth of 27.4% in Kalimantan.
Sumatra and Sulawesi plantations, meanwhile, grew only by 7.6% and 6.9% respectively last year. Volume of FFBs processed also grew by 17.9% to 6.62 million tons, including 23.7% growth to 2.62 million tons of FFBs sourced from external parties.
