In regional, Singapore’s Straits times and Australia’s All Ordinaries rose 0.39% and 0.46% respectively. While Japan’s Nikkei, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng, Korea’s Kospi and Shanghai closed down.

In Jakarta bourse, Coal miner Adaro Energy increased 0.59%, Astra International gained 0.66%, Sentul City surged 14.58%, Trada Maritim jumped 4.8%, and Perusahaan Gas Negara lifted 1.09%. Banking stocks also supported. Bank Rakyat Indonesia hiked 0.64%, and Bank Mandiri climbed 1.18%.

Among losers were Bakrieland Development (-1.75%), Energi Mega (-0.99%), Bakrie Sumatera Plantations (-2%), and Lippo Karawaci (-0.97%).

Crude oil declined 0.14% to US$93.15 per barrel. The rupiah strengthened to Rp9,690 against the US Dollar. (hans@theindonesiatoday.com)
