In regional, Japan’s Nikkei gained 1.26%, Shanghai added 0.45% while Korea’s KOSPI fell 0.5%. Crude oil inched down 0.1% to US$94.05 per barrel in Asian trading this morning.
Among coal stocks, Berau Coal gained 2.27% with 63.26 million shares exchanged hands. Adaro Energy added 0.59% while Bumi Resources was flat. Bakrie Sumatera Plantations also gained 1% with 44.03 million shares traded while Energi Mega was unchanged.
For banking stocks, Bank Tabungan Negara and Bank Mandiri gained 0.67% and 0.6%, repectively. Astra International rose 0.67% and Trada Maritim increased 1.59%. (hans@theindonesiatoday.com)
